Katie Price’s 'attacker' bailed for a third time as police dig into assault claims

A MAN arrested on suspicion of assault after Katie Price was allegedly punched has been released on bail for a THIRD time.

After the arrest on August 23, the man was released on bail until September 20, then re-bailed into October.

Essex police confirmed the man who allegedly assaulted the mum-of-five has been bailed again until next month as they continue their investigation.

A police spokesperson said: "A man arrested following reports of an assault in Little Canfield on August 23 has been re-bailed until next month (November)."

He was arrested on suspicion of assault after police were called to a residential address in the village of Little Canfield and the man remained in custody overnight.

Katie, 43, was taken to hospital as police were called to her home.

Katie claimed to cops that she had been the victim of a violent attack.

She was driven to a friend’s house nearby, before paramedics were called and she was then taken to hospital.

The former I’m A Celebrity star’s life has been full of dramas over the past 18 months.

The TV star crashed her BMW last month and police at the scene arrested Katie for alleged drink-driving.

She may now spend Christmas in jail if she's handed a custodial sentence at her court date on December 15.

Chair of the bench Julie Hutton warned the reality star in court on September 30: "We regularly send people to prison for driving whilst disqualified."

"On that basis, Ms Price, you are free to go and good luck at the Priory."

The reality star pleaded guilty to drink driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance and is being treated at the Priory clinic as she awaits sentencing.

Katie’s family released a statement on her behalf, insisting she has taken “full responsibility” for what happened.
