Sophie Price posted an image on Instagram that read "mental illness is not a personal failure" — just hours after The Sun revealed the star had been held on suspicion of drink-driving.
Katie, 40, allegedly crashed her car into a bush after partying at ex Kris Boyson's 30th birthday bash in Bexleyheath, South East London.
The glamour model was held in the early hours of the morning after being found inside the garish motor in nearby Woolwich.
Katie, 40, since been released under investigation, the Metropolitan Police confirmed this afternoon.
Sophie, the younger sibling of glam model Katie, shared her message coinciding with World Mental Health Day with the hashtag #worldmentalhealthday2018.
There is no suggestion that her post is directly related to Katie's arrest.
But the message was met with support from well-wishing fans — with one writing: "Hope Katies ok x"
The arrest comes just days after Price decided to take a break from rehab in the middle of a 28-day stint after undergoing treatment for PTSD.
Dramatic pictures revealed by The Sun Online show the front of the Range Rover bashed in with wires hanging out.
Large scrapes and dents can also be seen in the pink paintwork following the early-hours crash this morning.
Price was forced to spend the night in a police cell after being found by officers inside the damaged vehicle and asked to take a breath test.
A Met Police spokesman said earlier: "At approximately 2am British Transport Police officers came across a car showing signs of damage stationary at the roadside in Shooters Hill Road, Woolwich.
"A 40-year-old woman who was inside the car was arrested on suspicion of drink driving."
Before her arrest she attended a 30th birthday party for her ex Kris at the Meze Restaurant in Bexleyheath.
Boyson was later seen visiting her at the South London police station where she was held.
This morning BTP officers alerted Met Police colleagues and Katie was taken to a nearby police station, where she was examined by a doctor.
Her fingerprints, mugshot and a DNA saliva sample were taken, as is routine for any suspect arrested over a criminal offence.
The incident comes following a turbulent year for the star, which has already seen her fall foul of the law over driving offences.
In February, the 40-year-old was banned from driving for six months after being clocked doing 60mph on the 50mph A24 in her £75,000 Land Rover.
The Sun on Sunday revealed in July that police had been alerted to pictures of the star driving two weeks before the end of her ban.
Price later confessed on Instagram, explaining she had been driving son Harvey to hospital. She blamed an “emotional rollercoaster” for her decision to drive while banned.
The Loose Women panellist recently revealed she has been receiving a 28-day treatment at The Priory after being diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.
In September, Katie was filmed at a wild party with two men she met in a bar rapping the words “I love coke” before slumping to the floor.
The ex-glamour model was also snapped next to a bag of cocaine on a table top.
She had been in Majorca with pals on a hen do when she met two German lads, who said that after downing shots and champagne, they went back to their apartment to “have a shower, get cosy and do drugs”.
The telly favourite was also banned from driving in September 2012 after failing to respond to two speeding tickets, arguing that her mum handled her post.
Katie has endured a traumatic year, including her split from husband Kieran Hayler.
She is reportedly putting her £2million home on the market and is flogging belongings due to money woes.
Earlier this year, she found out her mum Amy, 64, was terminally ill with lung disease idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
