Kim Woodburn has opened up about her infamous row with Coleen Nolan on Loose Women back in August, where she stormed off the show.
The incident saw Kim label Coleen “trash” following their feud on Celebrity Big Brother, with Coleen branding Kim “vile”.
Recalling the episode, the How Clean Is Your House? presenter told New! Magazine (via The Sun): “I was asked to do Loose Women and I didn’t think it would turn out like it did – very hurtful.
“I was shocked as much as anybody else that it happened. I was told that it was a reconciliation on Coleen’s behalf.”
Kim added: “I don’t know if the producers didn’t tell her, or if they conned both of us to get us on. I don’t wish her any harm and I’m sorry she has no job on Loose Women.
“I can say hand on heart, I didn’t cause it and I hope, in time, she gets back on her feet.”
Adding of her confrontational style, the presenter continued: “I like to be nice, but don’t cross me. I’ll be as polite as anything to you, but you say something nasty to me and oh, I’ll be really nasty back. Don’t start on me for no reason or I’ll give it straight back to you!”
Coleen later went on “immediate hiatus” from her commitments, including Loose Women, following the row.
Kim previously called for Coleen to be fired from the show, with the incident sparking an investigation by Ofcom. The Loose Women panellist later broke down in tears on This Morning as she spoke of “the worst week of [her] life”.
