Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) has been struggling with her mental health following a horrifying car accident in EastEnders.
After suffering a panic attack during her sentencing for dangerous driving, Kim was sentenced to a week in prison when she was unable to provide medical proof of her anxiety disorder.
Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) had encouraged Kim to seek medical help after witnessing one of her panic attacks, but Kim revealed that she wouldn’t be seen for several months due to the extensive waiting lists.
Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) revealed to Denise Fox (Diane Parish) before Kim’s sentencing that it was clear she needed therapy, but that they couldn’t afford to go private.
Desperate to help her sister, Denise offered Howie some money towards the sessions.

In recent scenes, Kim returned home to Albert Square, where her friends had thrown a surprise party for her at The Prince Albert.
Despite trying to put on a brave face, Kim soon became overwhelmed and slipped out of the gathering, but was spotted by Denise and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace).
Kim later revealed to sister Denise and Eve that she had been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by the prison psychiatrist.
Eve, having been to prison before, offered Kim support, allowing her to open up about her experience.
As Kim admitted that she had been terrified that her children would come to harm while she was away, Denise reassured her that they were safe and encouraged her to open up to Howie about her diagnosis.
When Kim insisted that she didn’t want to, Eve offered her a friendly ear whenever she needed.
Will Kim take Eve’s advice and start to open up to her family and friends, or will she continue to suffer alone?
