Little Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock 'to become Ru Paul's Drag Race judge' as she follows in Jade Thirlwall's footsteps

LITTLE Mix's Leigh-Anne Pinnock is set to become a judge on RuPaul's Drag Race UK.

The pop star will become the second Little Mixer to appear on the popular reality show after her band mate Jade Thirwall was a hit on the first season of UK's Drag Race.

Leigh-Anne is reportedly very excited to appear on the third season of Drag Race UK and is a big fan of the show, according to the Daily Star.

“Producers have wanted Leigh-Anne to be a guest judge for a long time, so they were thrilled she was finally able to do it," explained a TV insider.

“Everything was very hush-hush and she wasn’t able to tell many people she was doing it.

“Leigh-Anne is a massive fan of the show, so she was the perfect guest judge. She was in her element. And, of course, the contestants loved getting to meet her.”

It's been an exciting week of news for Leigh-Anne after the pop star is expecting her first child with footballer boyfriend Andre Gray.

The couple announced the pregnancy with a series of stunning professional snaps.

Leigh-Anne showed off her bump in a glamorous green silk dress which exposed her tum.

She revealed she's relieved to finally be able to embrace her baby bump after sharing her happy news.

Speaking alongside Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards on today's BBC Breakfast, she said: "It's such sensitive information and I wanted to be the one to tell the world. This felt like the right time to bring it out and say it.

"It's scary. I wanted to enjoy the moment and I was scared that it was going to come out and I wasn't going to be able to control that. You want to own it yourself. I'm happy I got to release that imagery."

Jade has long been a fan of Drag Race and a outspoken supporter of the LGBTI community.

Jade previously said that her boyfriend, Jordan Stephen's love of "drag" is one of the things that caught her interest in him.

She said: "It’s really important for me that whoever I find relationship-wise loves drag culture.

"When I first started talking to my boyfriend, I discovered he did a movie where he played a drag queen and I was like, right, that’s it. He’s perfect. Sign me up!

"A straight man who’s willing to dress in drag and loves being queer and feminine."

Jordan starred in Tucked, which was made in 2018 but recently landed on Netflix.
