LITTLE Mix's Perrie Edwards has revealed she and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have called their son Axel.
The 28-year-old singer wrote: "2 weeks of loving you. I’ve never felt love like this before! Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain 💙."
The star also posted two cute pictures of little Axel wearing a knitted blue hat asleep in a basket.
The little boy is the first child of the chart-topping singer and England and Liverpool midfielder Alex, 28.
The name Axel is an anagram of his – with the X and L swapped around.
The couple's celebrity followers quickly piled in with praise for their choice, with Georgia Harrison writing: "Omg this is perfection 😍😍😍."
Strictly star Saffron Baker added: "Adorable 😭❤️so gorgeous, congratulations again xxxx."
Perrie shared the news their baby had been born last month alongside a series of adorable black and white snaps, showing their child's tiny feet and hands.
The Little Mix star wrote: "Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21 ♥️."
Her footballer boyfriend added his own pictures and shared: "Welcome to the world little one 😍❤️ 21/08/21."
Fans had been alerted to the fact Perrie was in labour when footballer Alex didn’t play for Liverpool, citing “personal reasons”.
Perrie stunned Little Mix fans when she revealed she was pregnant in May, announcing the news on Instagram with a close-up picture of her baby bump.
She wrote: "So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate. Me + Him = You 🌎♥️ We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!"
