Luisa Bradshaw-White’s real-life wife Annette Yeo made a cameo in EastEnders last night (December 8).
The actress’ character Tina Carter has been implicated in the attack which left Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) for dead.
Last night, the police arrived at No. 1 Albert Square — where Tina has been living with Shirley (Linda Henry) and Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) — to arrest her.
Viewers were quick to notice that the police woman who took Tina away in handcuffs was none other than Luisa’s real-life wife, Annette.
One social media user said: ‘I’m guessing Luisa’s wife was the officer arresting Tina… #EastEnders.
Another one added: ‘was that luisa’s wife’.
The BBC One soap previously used the same clever trickery for Ian’s arrest in Friday’s episode (December 4), which saw actor Adam Woodyatt’s son Sam play the arresting officer.
Due to social distancing measures on set, actors have to stay 2 metres apart, but in order to ensure drama remains at the forefront of the soap, special methods to ‘cheat’ the distancing were devised.
One of these special methods includes the use of actors’ real-life partners for scenes which require characters to be closer than two metres.
