Emmerdale’s Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) has proven that she’s not to be messed with, and this is something that Diane Sugden (Elisabeth Estensen) could be set to find out the hard way.
Meena went to extreme lengths in her mission to split Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) and Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin).
The master manipulator lured Millie’s beloved Princess into the back of a car on a boiling hot day, and proceeded to lock the dog inside the vehicle.
Princess would’ve died as a result of Meena’s actions, had it not been for hero David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden), who found her on time.
Meena took great delight in finding out that Princess’ condition resulted in Charles cancelling his trip with Andrea, and she wasted little time in informing the vicar about a previous incident involving his girlfriend, and the death of a dog.
Viewers will know that Andrea, on the night of Graham Foster’s (Andrew Scarborough) murder, knocked down Jai Sharma’s (Chris Bisson) pet dog, Tip, and proceeded to bury it in the woods.
In a clip from tonight’s edition of the ITV soap, Andrea and Charles get into a row over the aforementioned incident, much to Meena’s glee.
Diane, however, warns Meena against taking delight in other people’s misery.
‘You know what’s worse than fake news?’ starts the former Woolpack landlady, ‘fake sympathy!’
David intervenes, claiming Meena is simply looking out for her friend, but Diane can see right through her.
Meena, however, tells David not to worry about the Diane situation, telling him that she’ll ‘talk to her’.
The question is: just what does Meena mean when she says ‘talk’?
The schemer has proven that she’s just about capable of anything, so it’s a safe bet that Diane could find herself in danger.
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Friday June 11 at 7pm on ITV.
