Some biggest musicians received honors at the 2018 American Music Awards, but some were getting riled up as they read some mean tweets in the Tuesday, October 9 episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!“. Featured in the special American Music Awards edition of “Mean Tweets” series were Miley Cyrus, Gwen Stefani and The Chainsmokers among others.
“Gwen Stefani really is the worst thing to ever happened. Period. Full stop. #UghBarf,” the former “The Voice” coach said before looking deadpan at the camera. Meanwhile, The Chainsmokers got a good laugh from the tweet directed to them that read, “One of my employees was talking about how the chainsmokers are actually pretty good and don’t deserve all the hate. So I fired him.”
Similar to The Chainsmokers, Imagine Dragons laughed off their mean tweet in which the hater asked people to “decide which the worst, Maroon 5, hitler or imaginedragons.” Halsey also had her own share of hateful comment which read, “I like some of halsey’s songs but my god she sings like a goat being f***ed in the ass.”
Among the participants was Tyga, whose rap skills were questioned by one Twitter user. “Tyga raps like ya homie that can’t really rap but always be rapping,” the tweet read.
Another naysayer made Pink laugh with her/his insult. “P!nk is aging pretty well for a pig,” she read, before making a face while thanking the hater. Up next was Miley Cyrus, who was not having it. “Miley Cyrus is a smelly pirate hooker,” the tweet read. The “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker didn’t say anything as she thought that giving her middle finger at whoever wrote the tweet was enough to represent her reaction.
Also take a look at how Luke Bryan, Jason Mraz, Dua Lipa and Korn and The Strokes react to the mean tweets which were directed at them.
