Cara Robinson (Carryl Thomas) made quite the return in Emmerdale tonight (October 21) in an effort to talk some sense into Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).
Viewers will know that Nate is in deep trouble with the police, after Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) twisted the narrative to his advantage, claiming that it was Nate and Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) who knocked down Moira (Natalie J Robb).
Worried about Belle’s mental health in the wake of Jamie’s schemes, Nate decided to help in whatever way he could, and ultimately decided to turn himself in to the police and accept responsibility for the hit-and-run.
Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) was appalled at the young man’s actions, and upon his return in tonight’s episode, she refused to let him in.
As Nate sulked in the village, his mum Cara arrived to berate him regarding his decision to take responsibility for something he didn’t do.
Nate, however, stood by his decision to help out Belle, but Cara reckoned that Cain (Jeff Hordley) had something to do with it.
Therefore, she wasted little time in confronting Cain on the matter, and informed him that she’s not going to sit by and watch her son go to prison.
We have no choice but to stan, to be honest.
Cara is back with a vengeance, and she’s going to do whatever it takes to save Nate.
Will Cain get caught in the crossfire, however?
Emmerdale continues Thursday October 22 at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
