Spoilers: Kat throws Sam out after huge declaration in EastEnders

It’s not easy being a member of the Mitchell clan on EastEnders, as Kat (Jessie Wallace) is set to find out in upcoming episodes.

With Walford hard-man Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) currently behind bars, Kat has had a whole lot more on her plate than just pining for her man and keeping things running at home. She’s had dodgy deliveries of guns, Tommy (Sonny Kendall) stabbing bullies and all manner of stress.

When her house is bombed by someone who most likely has connections to Phil, it’s the last straw for her and she tells Stacey (Lacey Turner) that she can’t cope with any more stress. She didn’t expect a relationship with Phil to be quite so riddled with criminal activity and she’s had enough.

But this is Kat Slater we’re talking about, and Ben (Max Bowden) realises that she needs a gentle reminder of exactly how tough she really is. He deliberately riles her by telling her that she isn’t strong enough to be a Mitchell, and that’s enough for Kat.

By the time Sam (Kim Medcalf) arrives and announces she’s moving in to Kat’s house, Kat is ready. She throws Sam out, telling her that she’s the head of the family now.

Fighting talk!
