Strictly Come Dancing star Neil Jones' sister publicly defends Katya after drunken kiss with Seann Walsh

The sister of Strictly Come Dancing star Neil Jones has come out publicly in support of Katya in the midst of the current controversy.

Katya was photographed drunkenly kissing her celebrity dance partner Seann Walsh in pictures that were published after the Saturday live show, despite the fact that both are in relationships (or were at the time, at least).

Katya is married to fellow Strictly professional Neil Jones, and now Neil’s sister Terri has publicly shared her support for her sister-in-law in a Twitter update.

“We all love you and that’s all that matters xxx,” Terri tweeted to Katya, and the dancer has since liked the tweet, so it looks like the support is appreciated.

Seann and Katya have both publicly apologised for the kiss, with both parties saying in their respective statements that it was just a one-off mistake.

Following the coverage, Seann’s (now ex-)girlfriend Rebecca Humphries released an open letter in which she publicly dumped the comedian, and accused him of aggressively responding whenever she questioned him about anything inappropriate going on with his professional partner.

Celebrities including Stacey Solomon, Denise Welch, Myleene Klass and Carol Vorderman have commended Humphries for her honesty and sincerity.

Meanwhile, Neil Jones hasn’t publicly commented on the kiss, but did post a topless picture on the beach earlier this week and hashtagged it ‘positivevibes’.
