While brutally honest chef Gordon Ramsay frightens some people, Strictly Come Dancing professional Luba Mushtuk is far from scared of him. Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the 33-year-old revealed she would choose Gordon if she could pick someone to dance with on the BBC competition.
Luba joined Strictly Come Dancing in 2018 but for the past couple of years she hasn’t had a celebrity partner.
When asked who she would select, Luba told Express.co.uk: “Gordon Ramsay.
“I’d like to partner with him because I think he’s the man who could do anything.
“I’m a massive fan of his personality and I actually think he might be a bit shy in dancing.
“And I think it will be a beautiful way to show his other sides, not just, you know, the strict and direct one, as I know him as a person.
“He is very gentle and very soft. And I find you know some similarities between him and me, and I think we can make a great partnership.”
While Gordon hasn’t expressed any plans to take part in the series, his daughter Tilly Ramsay took part in the 2021 series alongside Nikita Kuzmin.
Gordon appeared in the audience on a few occasions to support his daughter and was often looking emotional as he watched her dance.
Tilly was the ninth celebrity to be voted off the show, and EastEnders star Rose Ayling-Ellis ended up winning the series.
Although Luba hasn’t competed in the series for a while, she was partnered with athlete James Cracknell in 2019, but the pair were sadly eliminated in the first week.
The following year, she competed in the show with Jason Bell.
Since 2020, Luba has been on the show in the group dances, spin-off shows, and showing support for her co-stars.

However, she expressed how much she would love to get a partner in this year’s series.
“I would love to be partnered,” the Russian dancer told Express.co.uk.
Remaining hopeful, she continued: “I’d love to. So, everything crossed that next year will be my year.
“And we’re going to make the final. I’m putting it out there into the universe.”
While this year’s series is still a long way off, the professional line-up of dancers is normally announced early in the year.
The series recently announced producers were looking to sign up a wheelchair-using celebrity for the next show.
The Mail on Sunday reported the show had shared plans to include a wheelchair user in the next series, which follows last year’s sign-up on Paralympian Ellie Simmonds.
Fans will probably have to wait a bit longer before finding out more details about this year’s line-up but plans already seem to be in the works.
