THE Crown's Emma Corrin flashes her armpit hair in a new photoshoot – and reveals why she isn't shaving it.
The 24-year-old, who plays Princess Diana in the fourth season of the Netflix hit, spoke about reclaiming her body image after breaking up with a boyfriend in the latest issue of Glamour.
She said: “I think it's interesting how the media and a lot of our culture loves to label or to pigeon-hole women.
"How I present myself, what I do with my makeup, my body hair, my hair or anything aesthetically, will always be dictated by what I feel and nothing external …
"I’ve been meaning to grow it for quite a few years, but I’m recently single. I’ve been in a relationship and I guess I was programmed to think that I should probably shave for the benefit of both parties.
"It’s been quite an underwhelming realisation that there’s no drama in it. It’s just there. I’m hoping it’s on the path to becoming normal."
Emma has transformed to play Princess Diana and has been getting rave reviews.
From becoming Prince Charles' new love interest through to portraying their doomed marriage on screen, Emma has embodied Diana's transition through her earlier years in the spotlight.
She plays Diana between the ages of 16 and 28 and looks eerily similar to the late Pricess of Wales.
Much like Diana Emma enjoyed a privileged upbringing as the eldest daughter of businessman dad Chris Corrin and speech therapist mum Dr Juliette Corrin.
According to reports, her and her two brothers grew up with their parents in a £2.5million detached house with a swimming pool, near Sevenoaks.
