The Haunting of Bly Manor has a secret nod to Doctor Who – did you spot it?
One of the characters, Owen, is seen wearing a full tweed ensemble and matching bow tie.
And according to actor Rahul Kohli, he specifically asked the costume department to put together the specific look as a treat for the show's creator, Michael Flanagan.
Flanagan, who also was the creative brains behind The Haunting of Hill House, is a massive Doctor Who fan, so Rahul thought it would be a fun surprise for him.
He addressed it directly on Twitter, writing: "True story, @flanaganfilm is a HUGE Whovian. When deciding on the costume for this scene, I asked for a bow tie and tweed jacket as an homage to The Doctor for Mike."
In 2014, Mike explained that his love for the BBC sci-fi had led him to cast Karen Gillan in the feature length version of his short, Oculus.
But despite wanting to play it cool, he admitted that he outed himself as a super-fan early on.
Speaking to Hey U Guys, he recalled: "I managed to pull that off for about 10 minutes before I had a sip of coffee and my coffee mug at work is a tardis, and I had forgotten that.
"So I’d be sitting there trying to put on a cool face, and I was sipping from a tardis mug. The minute she saw that, she knew that the part was in the bag."
The Haunting of Bly Manor has got viewers claiming that they are "too scared to close their eyes".
The story, an adaption of Henry James' classic novella The Turn of the Screw, tells the story of a US au pair entrusted with the education of a pair of weird orphans, who live in a sprawling house where things definitely go bump in the night.
