THIS Morning viewers fumed over Alice Beer's "rip off" candle that costs £46 to "make you happy".
The presenter, 55, appeared on the ITV daytime programme on Monday to show viewers a range of products that boost people's mood.
However, This Morning fans took issue with the £46 mood boosting candle – labelling it a "rip off".
Alice began the segment by asking people who need clinal help to seek it out.
She said: "There will be people watching who have all degrees of mental health issues and anxieties.
"Please, please, please, if you need to get help, please seek help from people who can help you professionally. Here I'm going to show you ways you can simply boost your mood and feel a little happier."
After showing off a SAD light for seasonal affective disorder and a special face mask, she introduced the candle.
She said: "I've got my own special happiness smell with a Neom candle. This one is £46 because it's got three wicks, they're about £30 if you go for the one wick one. It is actually a happiness candle.
"It's got the essential oil blend, seven different essential oils, neroli, mimosa, lemon, all for feelings of positivity. Of course, if you don't want to spend that much money on a candle – gorgeous smells, but think about the smells you've got around the kitchen. Lemon, cinnamon, put some cinnamon on your coffee.
"Enjoy the scent of lemon, peppermint, they are all natural smells that will boost your mood quite easily and inexpensively."
However, fans were not impressed by the price of the candle, with one person saying: "£46 for a good mood candle! I’d be more depressed at those prices!! #ThisMorning"
Another added: "I think my happiness would be ruined knowing I'd spent 46 quid on a candle!"
A third remarked: "£46 for a happiness candle… That is def not making anyone happy apart from the company selling it."
