What did Chrissy Teigen say to Michael Costello?

CHRISSY Teigen came under fire after a series of old tweets where she "bullied" multiple celebrities resurfaced.

She claimed that she felt like an "a******" as a result, and issued a public apology on Medium.

What did Chrissy Teigen say to Michael Costello?

In June 2021, fashion designer Michael Costello has accused Teigen of leaving him “traumatized, depressed” and having “thoughts of suicide” after bullying him.

Teigan allegedly accused him of being a racist in 2014 on his Instagram page.

He says Teigan "formed her own opinion of me" after seeing a "photoshopped comment".

He claimed the comment was proven to be false by Instagram and contacted Teigan to explain.

Costello said "she told me that my career was over and that all my doors will be shut from now on."

He shared an alleged screenshot of a conversaton between him and Teigan in which Teigan wrote: "Racist people like you deserve to suffer and die,"

"You might as well be dead. Your career is over, just watch."

Teigan has not commented on the claims.

What other celebrities did Chrissy Teigen 'bully' on social media?

Teigen's tweets about Lindsay Lohan from 2011 resurfaced online as the model was slammed online for bullying the former Disney actress.

An unearthed tweet from Teigen's account resurfaced poking fun at Lohan's previous self-harm struggle, which read: “Lindsay adds a few more slits to her wrists when she sees Emma Stone."

Lohan has yet to address the since-deleted tweet, however, her mother Dina opened up to Page Six about it, saying: “When someone says hurtful words they’re not just hurting that person, they’re hurting their siblings, their mother, their grandma.

"They’re inflicting so much pain."

Teigen was also facing backlash for cyberbullying model Courtney Stodden telling them to "go to sleep forever" when they were just 16.

Stodden – who uses the pronoun they – spoke out against the model in an interview with The Daily Beast.

They said: "She wouldn't just publicly tweet about wanting me to take 'a dirt nap' but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself. Things like, "I can't wait for you to die."'

Teigen apologized on Twitter – despite still having Stodden blocked on social media.

However, Stodden slammed Teigen's public apology and claimed she never did so "privately" and only did it to "save face."

Teigen also faced backlash for calling Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham a "w***e" and claiming "everyone hates you."

What did Chrissy Teigen say in her Medium apology?

In the self-published blog post, Teigen wrote, "I’ve apologized publicly to one person, but there are others — and more than just a few — who I need to say I’m sorry to.

“I’m in the process of privately reaching out to the people I insulted.

“…I understand that they may not want to speak to me. I don’t think I’d like to speak to me.

“(The real truth in all of this is how much I actually cannot take confrontation.) But if they do, I am here and I will listen to what they have to say, while apologizing through sobs.”

The mother-of-two continued: "There is simply no excuse for my past horrible tweets. My targets didn’t deserve them. No one does.

"Many of them needed empathy, kindness, understanding and support, not my meanness masquerading as a kind of casual, edgy humor."

Teigen said she was "a troll, full stop".

"The truth is, I’m no longer the person who wrote those horrible things. I grew up, got therapy, got married, had kids, got more therapy, experienced loss and pain, got more therapy and experienced more life. AND GOT MORE THERAPY," she added.

Although Teigen did not name-drop anyone in her post – she asked them for their "patience and tolerance."

"I won’t ask for your forgiveness, only your patience and tolerance. I ask that you allow me, as I promise to allow you, to own past mistakes and be given the opportunity to seek self improvement and change."
