Kate Garraway shared a cheeky conversation between her two children 16-year-old Darcey and 12-year-old Billy on Friday’s Good Morning Britain. The admission came during an interview with Roman Kemp as she and co-host Adil Ray quizzed the radio presenter about Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball.
Kate explained: “Because of my connections with Smooth Radio I get to go.
“I’m very excited about it, get to watch you in the crowd.
“I’m having a bit of a hectic time at the moment but Darcey and Billy have both said, ‘If we can’t go to Jingle Bell Ball, what is the point of having you as a mother?’
“Because it’s me getting them access to that every year is the sole reason.”
“I think I’ve got tickets for Saturday,” Kate added.
“It’s crazy I’m even saying it’s tomorrow,” Roman replied. “Tomorrow there’s two really big hitters.”
“There’s a new band who I think are just going to pop off they’re called Coldplay,” he joked.
The GMB presenter quipped: “They’re obviously newcomers.”
