Who are the LMA Choir? X Factor 2018 group from Liverpool through to Live Shows

Here is all you need to know about the group.

Who are the LMA Choir?

The Liverpool-based group consists of a group of students and their theatre and dance teacher.

LMA stands for Liverpool Media Academy and its members are aged between 19 and 40.

They chose to sing This Is Me from the hit movie The Greatest Showman for their X Factor audition.

However, this isn't the first time they've enjoyed screen time, as they placed second in BBC One's Pitch Battle last year.

They sailed through the Judges' Houses with their performance of James Bay's Hold Back the River after they successfully impressed Robbie Williams.

Who are this year's X Factor judges?

The judging panel for the fifteenth series of the show has seen a major overhaul.

Simon Cowell remains but all three other judges have been replaced.

That means that Nicole Scherzinger, Louis Walsh, and Sharon Osbourne are no longer on the panel.

Instead, they have been replaced by Louis Tomlinson, Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field. Sharon Osbourne will also help out during the live shows.

When is The X Factor 2018 on?

New episodes of The X Factor air every Saturday and Sunday on ITV.

It usually starts around 8pm although the time can vary from week to week.

Last year's contest was won by Rak-Su who triumphed in the final over Grace Davies.

Following the first auditions, the Six Chair Challenge and the Judges' Houses, the live shows will kick off on Saturday, October 20.
