Who is in the I’m A Celebrity 2021 lineup?

I’m A Celebrity is due to return to ITV in November but an official release date is yet to be announced.

In the run-up to the new season, fans will be wondering which celebs have agreed to sign up for the challenge.

Although no one has officially been confirmed yet, here is a full list of who has been rumoured to appear.

Frankie Bridge

Former member of The Saturdays Frankie, who is married to footballer Wayne Bridge, has supposedly signed a deal to take part this year.

The singer, who rose to fame after appearing in the band S Club Juniors, has also appeared on the Loose Women panel.

She is no stranger to TV competitions as she took part in the 12th series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The 32-year-old is on Instagram but she has given nothing away about moving to Wales for I’m A Celeb.

Back in 2020, the star said she would never go on the show because she was terrified of certain challenges.

Speaking to Hello! she added: “You know what, I would love to do it. It’s always been the other reality show that I said would be cool to do but for me, now that we have the boys, it’s such a long time away without any contact so that is number one for me, that’s what puts me off.”

Maura Higgins

Love Island star Maura Higgins came into the spotlight recently as she was dating Strictly Come Dancing star, Giovanni Pernice.

However, the pair split up during the professional dancer’s latest stint on the BBC dance competition.

Maura has been spending her time appearing as the host of GlowUp Ireland, and she is yet to give anything away about her next TV appearance.

The news of her supposed gig with I’m A Celebrity came to light shortly after her split with Giovanni.

Nadiya Hussain

Nadiya Hussain is known for being a Great British Bake Off champion and she went on to star in her own cookery shows.

The TV chef was due to appear in the 2020 series but she turned it down due to the weather conditions.

Yet according to The Guardian, she expressed an interest in returning, saying: “I can’t help wondering what it would have been like.”

There is a high chance she was given another shot to take part in the second Welsh series.

Cheryl Hole

Cheryl Hole is known for appearing in the first season of RuPaul’s Drage Race UK and the queen has since gained a huge following.

The star is not the only Drag Race queen to be tipped to make an appearance, as Baga Chipz is a close second.

Cheryl Hole has appeared on a number of TV competitions so far and is always keen to get stuck in.

The drag queen took part in Celebs on the Farm, so could Wales be the next stop?

Maya Jama

DJ and presenter Maya Jama recently left her breakfast show on Radio 1 to seek out new opportunities.

This has led her followers to speculate over whether she is making time to appear on the next season of I’m A Celeb.

The presenter was also tipped to enter the castle last year, so she may have been approached again.

Richard Madeley

Richard Madeley hit the spotlight after appearing as one of the regular hosts of Good Morning Britain.

The host has come under fire on numerous occasions for his controversial outbursts.

The journalist is married to Judy Finnigan and the pair presented chat show Richard & Judy.

He recently addressed the rumours about signing up to I’m A Celebrity, when GMB co-host Susanna Reid asked: “Doing anything in a month’s time, Richard?”

Madeley said: “Ah, that story she’s referring to is I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

“I’m asked this every year actually. Well, most years they ask me to do it.”

He added: “I’ve checked with ITV what they want me to say about this – I may be going in, or I may not be going in.”

Arlene Phillips

Arlene Phillips is a professional dancer known for being one of the judges on Strictly Come Dancing.

The 78-year-old choreographer was replaced with Alesha Dixon in 2008 and the decision was met with outrage.

A source told The Mirror that Arlene is “strong and tough and her energy is boundless”.

Fans will definitely welcome the dancer, who will be the oldest contestant to date behind Stanley Johnson.

Naughty Boy

Rapper Naughty Boy is one of the most recent stars to be named as a potential contestant this year.

He had no choice but to pull out of last year’s show due to a family illness and was replaced with Jordan North.

With this in mind, he could have been given a second chance to prove himself in the castle.

Adam Woodyatt

Actor Adam Woodyatt is best known for his role as Ian Beale in the soap EastEnders.

The star has been absent from the BBC hit series for some time, which has led fans to believe he could be working on other projects.

He has been spending a lot of his time working in theatre during his character’s period of leave from the soap.

The fan-favourite actor could prove extremely popular with viewers in the Welsh castle.

Lucy Fallon

Lucy Fallon is known for playing Bethany Platt in Coronation Street, leaving the series in March 2020.

She is rumoured to have signed up to the show having supposedly missed out on a spot on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing.

The actress is on Instagram but she has not given anything away about her latest ventures.

One of her latest appearances was at the Pride of Britain Awards.
