Zara McDermott has been seen breaking down in tears and begging for forgiveness from Sam Thompson as her cheating is exposed in a preview for next week's Made In Chelsea.

The 23 year old admitted to cheating on Sam, 28, last month as she vowed to prove herself to the blond hunk.

Former Love Island star Zara is seen looking downcast as she enjoys lunch with friends in a teaser for next week's episode, with a pal asking her if she's okay.

Zara admits: "No," before crying and adding: "Around a year ago I slept with someone."

The preview then cut to Sam sitting down with Jamie Laing, who was at the lunch when Zara dropped the bombshell.

Sam tells his best friend Jamie: "She was the one, mate. I can't be alone. I hate being alone."

Jamie, who will return to the Strictly Come Dancing dance floor this weekend, warns him: "You have to remember the betrayal that you've received, the deceit.

"The fact that his could easily happen again," he continues as Sam looks fraught.

Finally, we see Sam confronting his girlfriend, telling her: "You are so good at lying."

"I just want you to forgive me," a fresh faced Zara begs as she cried into her hand, her usually perfect styled hair worn in a simple ponytail.

The scenes aired just hours after Zara shared an emotional tribute to her former beau on social media.
