Made in Chelsea’s Ruby Adler confesses ‘Sydney healed my broken heart’ after split from Nicholas Sinclair

The socialites of SW3 have ditched the chilly streets of Chelsea for a sun-soaked adventure to take their minds off their various romantic disasters.

Rather than wrapping up warm and spending the festive season sipping hot chocolates at the Bluebird Café, the cast of Made in Chelsea have travelled all the way to Sydney and are still filming out there for the brand new winter series.

“I was so excited to go to Sydney,” says David ‘Temps’ Templer, who has been at the centre of the drama in series 26 after his break-up with co-star Olivia Bentley.

He says, “I’ve been here before about eight years ago and loved it. My sister also lives here so it’s great to have family on the other side of the world. And I love budgie smugglers so I couldn’t wait to get to the beach!”

“It’s been a bucket-list destination for me for a long time,” adds Tristan Phipps. “I’m actually scared I won’t want to leave and return back home to London. The current search for my Australian wife is pending.”

Having dated Tristan on and off while in Chelsea, newest cast member Lauren Sintès reveals whether they’re together in Oz.

“I’m single,” she confirms. “It’s all about having fun on this trip, and staying well clear of boy drama.”

Also seeing each other back in London were Reza Amiri- Garroussi and Bella Sharpe – who hints that their romance also hits the rocks while they’re away.

“I started off living with Rez, Tristan, Harvey [Armstrong] and Lauren, but my circumstances changed mid-trip, which you will discover when you watch the series,” says Bella.

“It wouldn’t be Made In Chelsea without any drama in the Sydney series. There’s a lot of drama to unpack so stay tuned,” says newly single Ruby Adler, who broke up with her model boyfriend Nicholas Sinclair in September.

“Sydney has definitely cured my broken heart,” Ruby adds. “My favourite part about Sydney has been the chilled-out vibes. The way of life differs compared to London – away from the chaos. Although I definitely brought some chaos to Sydney.”

It’s not all break-ups though as Yasmine Zweegers reveals there’s some love in the Aussie air. “You can look forward to seeing some new and old romances among the group,” she teases.

And after his forgiveness dinner that may go down in the Made In Chelsea history books for being a complete disaster, Sam Prince says viewers will see a change in him.

“The Sydney series is a different one for me,” explains Sam. “I am still a cheeky chappy. But you will see a vulnerable side to me. There has been some drama, especially at the start of the trip. There are a few arguments and I will be getting to the bottom of a few things.”

Going to a new place is always daunting, but luckily for the MIC crew, they had a tour guide in the shape of Hugo MacKenzie-Wood, who befriended the group in London.

“As I’m from Sydney, my favourite part about the trip has been getting close to the rest of the gang,” he says. “I have bonded with Sam and Temps the most, my little Bondi Boys group."

“There have also been some exciting new Aussie cast [members] who have brought in romances and bromances," adds Hugo. "I made new friends and have lost some in the process.”

On their arrival to the city, the Chelsea gang meet new faces – JJ van der Vliet, Mia Loehr, Lachlan McLean, Tayla Cohen and Isabelle Cicero – who will no doubt turn heads.

After what’s guaranteed to be an eventful winter series, the group will be flying home for in time for Christmas.

“When we return from Sydney I’ll be spending Christmas in London,” says Tristan. “It will be mine and Harvey’s first one as housemates. I’ll be cooking a turkey while Harvey washes up.”

“I will be spending Christmas with my family, my nearest and dearest,” reveals Ruby. “Christmas is very family orientated, my mum still believes in Father Christmas and still does stockings for us – my gifts are even signed by him.”
