Hulu has scrapped a reality show on Sean “Diddy” Combs and his family following several sexual assault allegations, according to a new report in Rolling Stone.
Several allegations of sexual assault and abuse have been filed against the rapper and entrepreneur over the past month.
The project, which reportedly had a working title of “Diddy+7,” was being produced for Hulu by James Corden‘s production company, Fulwell 73, which also works on “The Kardashians.”
A total of four lawsuits have been filed against Diddy. Early this month, a woman, whose name wasn’t disclosed, sued the hip-hop mogul, claiming he and two other men raped her 20 years ago in a New York City recording studio when she was 17.
Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie was the first to accuse him of sexual assault, filing a lawsuit in November in which attorneys for Cassie claimed she “endured over a decade of his violent behavior and disturbed demands,” including repeated physical attacks and forcing her to “engage in sex acts with male sex workers” while he masturbated. The case was settled.
Combs was later sued by two other women who claimed they were sexually abused by the artist.
Diddy has spoken out about the sexual assault allegations against him, denying the claims.
In a public statement, he said, “Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
