After her disappearance, the residents of Albert Square had presumed that she had either been killed or run away for good.
But in a shocking twist on Wednesday's episode Eve returned, just moments after Nish and Ravi had been arrested for her murder.
Earlier in the episode the police had told Ravi that they had received an anonymous tip that he had been seen with Eve on the night of her disappearance, and after discovering blood in his car, they arrested him and his father.
However, despite this, Eve turned up alive and well just as Suki appeared to be contemplating ending her own life.
After the dramatic ending, fans were quick to speculate that Eve may have been the one who tipped off the police about Ravi, and even planted the blood evidence.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Omg I just realised that eve herself probably put the anonymous tip through about being seen with ravi, and the blood in the car, as he said 'someone's setting me up', yes it's eve as she needed a way to be able to come back."
A second added: ""That's what I thought when I saw Eve back. She knows a lot about the law so could easily set up Ravi and Nish."
And a third fan chimed in with: "Eve definitely set up Ravi and Nish and it was glorious, I'm assuming she also was in the Slater house the other day too when Stacey thought Theo had broken in."
Eve's dramatic return comes just days before one male resident of Walford will wind up dead on Christmas Day, with some speculating that it could be curtains for Nish.
Nish has a number of enemies on the square, including his own wife Suki, with fans suggesting that either she, Eve, or Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) could be the one to kill him.
