“It will be a magical night, but due to my ongoing support for the SAG-AFTRA strike I must respectfully step down.
“I look forward to being back at Royal Albert Hall PDQ (pretty darn quickly)! Xx H”
The 49-year-old telly star previously participated in the BBC Proms back in 2016.
Fans were impressed by Hannah’s stance, and showered her with praise on X.
“Solidarity and so much respect to you,” a person wrote.
Another X user commented: “Go with your conscience. Good call.”
A separate individual chimed in: “Thanks for doing the right thing, from this pre-WGA scribe who's written a role in a rom-com feature with you in mind. (These days, isn't everybody?)”
“Oh so sad to hear this. Was looking forward to listening to your beautiful voice. But you’ve got my full support on that strike lady. It’s for a greater good,” an additional fan wrote.
A television enthusiast added: “Good for you for standing for what's right!
“The cause is important for the future of the entertainment industry (not the CEO, but all the people involved in that industry) and the actors and writers.
“Keep Fighting! We'll wait for you to be able to perform again!”
