Strictly Come Dancing fans are 'gutted' as Annabel Croft revealed she's set to swap out her dance partner.
The former tennis star has been impressing the judges and viewers on the BBC One dance contest as she wows with her routines alongside dance partner Johannes Radebe.
The last show saw the duo make it through to week eleven of the 2023 run of the competition, after they performed a paso double to Espana Cani by Trad.
Annabel and Johannes were colour-coordinated in black and yellow Latin-inspired outfits, impressing the public and sending them through to the quarter-finals.
But as the pair now rehearses for Musicals week, which will see them perform Foxtrot to So Good from Wicked, Annabel took to social media to share an exciting Strictly announcement.
Sharing a picture alongside some of the other contestants, Annabel confirmed that she will continue dancing into the new year as she's been confirmed for the show's 2024 live tour.
The sports star will join Angela Scanlon, Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Bobby Brazier, actress Ellie Leach, broadcaster Angela Rippon, and stage and screen star Layton on the popular tour around the country.
Confirming the news with a snap showing all the celebrity participants, Annabel said: "Some very exciting news, which I have been SO excited to share with you all… The dancing dream continues as I will be taking part in the Strictly Tour." And Channel 4 News presenter Krishnan soon replied: "It’s going to be mayhem!"
But some voiced their disappointment to discover that she will no longer be dancing with Johannes. As the South African dancer will not be taking part in the tour, Annabel will instead be partnered with Graziano Di Prima.
But she’s not the only one, swapping out their usual pairing as Channel 4 News presenter Krishnan will instead be partnered with Jowita Przystal as show partner Lauren Oakley is already doing a dancing tour with Giovanni Pernice.
While many fans were delighted to see Annabel joining the tour, others were left gutted that they won’t be able to see her with Johannes.
One person said: "Brilliant news. Shame that it won't be with Johannes, but Graziano is an amazing dancer and a lovely human being!! Many congratulations to you."
While another penned: "No Johannes??? I bought my tickets too soon!"
A third added: "Cannot wait to hopefully watch @angelascanlon and @gkx_carlos dance their AT. Soooo pleased that @annabel_croft will also be on the tour but gutted she isn't dancing with @johannesradebe."
