Emmerdale’s Charley Webb looks very different after soap exit as she unveils abs

Emmerdale legend Charley Webb shared a behind the scenes snap as she got to work filming in her new acting job on ITV called The Long Shadow.

The ITV star, who rose to fame as a teenager playing Debbie Dingle, hasn't been short of job offers as she has landed the new series and is also going on a nationwide tour of the play Quiz.

Charley has been keeping her fans updated with her new work, and one of her most recent snaps showed her looking very different as she ditched her bronde locks for a wig cap.

The actress is going to be rocking a brand new look for the series, and she was keen to show off how she was going to be transforming her look to her followers.

Charley smouldered for the camera as she opted for a skintight black crop top which highlighted her washboard abs in the mirror, pairing it with black jogging bottoms.

She had her hair pinned back under a wig cap as she kept her make-up natural and added some simple necklaces to complete the look.

Charley captioned the picture: "Wig cap and trackies for the foreseeable. It's a look," as she showed her empty dressing room behind her.

The actress left Emmerdale back in 2021 to go on maternity leave before welcoming her third son, and admitted she had no plans to return to the soap.

Her husband Matthew Wolfenden, who plays David Metcalfe, has also announced his exit after 17 years on the soap and will be leaving later this year.

Charley's new job The Long Shadow focuses on the victims of serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, and will also star Katherine Kelly as well as Toby Jones, David Morrissey, Lee Ingleby and Shaun Dooley.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
