New I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! trailer
Nigel Farage has admitted he doesn’t know how his fellow I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! campmates will feel when they realise they will be sharing a campfire with him.
Last year, when Matt Hancock surprised his former campmates his receptions weren’t too well received, many focused on grilling him for his actions during the coronavirus pandemic.
Now, Nigel has opened up about his arrival on the show and expects his campmates to be “frosty” on his arrival.
He explained: “What will be interesting is the perception the other campers will have of me. They will go in with their preconceived ideas and it might be a little bit frosty – we will just have to see.
“I can’t pretend to be anyone other than who I am, I never have. But I survived for 20 years in the European Parliament with all sorts of people trying to trip me up so I am used to that!”

He also touched on whether politicians should be concerned about what happens post-jungle and he exclaimed: “Who the hell knows? Ask me afterwards!”
After the news of his participation in the show, fans of the ITV reality series took to their X accounts, formerly known as Twitter, to express how they feel about his arrival.
Paul Smith commented: “Never mind the jungle!! We need you in parliament!! Get these absolute dossers out of there and sort the country out!!”
@WeTheMany_ penned: “Nobody cares Nigel. You’ve just lowered yourself to Midazolam Matts level.”
@SA85_786 joked: “Instead of your usual talking b******s, hope you enjoy eating them.”
