At the end of his Strictly journey, Krishnan found himself in the dance-off against Angela Rippon and her dance partner Kai Widdrington. Despite their best efforts and wowing the viewers with their samba to Bamboléo by Gipsy Kings, Krishnan and Lauren got the boot from the BBC One dance competition.
The judges were torn over which couple to send through to Blackpool. Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke chose to save Angela while Shirley Bassey opted to save the beloved broadcaster. But with three votes to one, the dad-of-two was eliminated from the competition.
