Strictly Come Dancing is just weeks away from returning to screens, but it seems the competition is already hotting up between the professionals.
The cast of celebrities has been confirmed, with stars such as Layton Williams, Annabel Croft and Nigel Harman being announced, but two stars in particular are said to have impressed so far.
EastEnders sweetheart Bobby Brazier and Love Island's Zara McDermott are said to be causing quite the stir amongst the professional dancers.
According to The Sun, a source said: "Zara and Bobby are absolutely the favourites."
"There’s a battle going on between the pros as they all try to convince bosses to get the best pairing."
They added: "They know their airtime is largely dependent on how talented their celebrity pairing is, so everything is to play for at this stage."
Bobby, 20, made his name playing Freddie Slater in the BBC soap, and is the son of the late Jade Goody, while Zara has made history by becoming the first islander to make it onto the dancing show.
Emmerdale legend Adam Thomas is said to have impressed judges too, alongside TV star Les Dennis, 69, who is said to be taking the show seriously, determined not to be the "joke act" of the series.
Journalist Angela Rippon, 78, has also shocked the pros with how "swift" she has been across the dance floor.
Training for the show kicked off this month, with group dances giving show bosses a chance to look at any signs of chemistry or sparks between the stars and professionals.
Strictly Come Dancing will begin next month.
