New I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! trailer
Former I’m A Celebrity campmate Jake Quickenden has lifted the lid on his time during the show which he said left him feeling “invisible”.
The singer, 35, took part in the ITV programme back in 2014 and was the runner-up.
Contact from the outside world is minimal, with celebrities only allowed to engage with presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly amongst a handful of crew.
This also included camera crew, who Jake said was “not allowed to talk to you” and left him feeling “invisible”.
In a candid interview with Betway he said: “You do see people throughout the day, but it’s like you’re invisible”.

Jake said: “The cameramen are not allowed to talk to you, so when you go to a trial, you’ve obviously got a few following you.”
Admitting that he would often try and interact with the crew by asking about “the football scores” he confessed he would not get a response.
He continued: “I always used to ask them for the football scores, but they’d never talk to you. You do see people throughout the day, but it’s like you’re invisible.
“It’s weird but it’s so funny trying to wind them up and getting them to talk.”

Jake took the show by storm and was one of the favourites. He was pipped to the post by superbike racer Carl Fogarty who was crowned king of the jungle.
After spending three weeks in the Australian jungle he drastically dropped a stone in weight.
Looking back on the amount of weight he lost, he quipped: “I’ve got quite a big appetite and I’m quite a big guy, so I expected to lose more”.
Due to the lack of food, he said he was left feeling unwell on his last night after consuming three times the amount he was used to.
Jake said: “I remember we got a final meal in camp, where you get to choose your starter, main and dessert. I ate it and I never felt so ill afterward because my stomach had shrunk.”
However, he put all the weight back on “within about two days”.
Since his time on I’m A Celebrity, the X-Factor star went on to appear on Dancing on Ice and Hollyoaks.
But he recently swapped the small screen for the cage.
Earlier this month he faced stand-up comedian Paul Smith in an MMA bout at Oktagon 48 at Manchester’s AO Arena.
Jake spent 10 months in training in a bid to battle it out ahead of the fight
He won in his first round by a KO on his debut against the comedian.
