Brad Skelly has reacted to being labelled as MAFS UK 2023’s “villain” with fans wanting to know more about the reality star.

The 28-year-old was kicked off the E4 dating series after producers grew concerned over his behaviour towards his wife Shona Manderson.

In one commitment ceremony, expert Mel Schilling called Brad out after he said he didn’t want to “allow” her to express her feelings.

She responded: “You don’t need to allow her to do anything, she’s your equal. She’ll make that call.”

Shona herself has since spoken out, claiming most of his “inexcusable” behaviour happened when the cameras weren’t rolling.

Brad, 28, from Grimsby, is a model, having worked for big brands in the past like ASOS and JD Sports, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He often posts photos from his shoots as well as plenty of selfies on Instagram where he has more than 95,000 followers.

His LinkedIn page also states Brad is a self-employed business owner but doesn’t indicate what trade he is in.

When he isn’t working though, he practices spirituality through meditation and does healing work with crystals to ensure he is “tuned in and connected”.

Brad is the father of nine-year-old Keegan who he shares with his ex-girlfriend.

He had Keegan when he was just 18 but describes the youngster as his “best friend” and “the light of [his] life”.

MAFS UK isn’t the first time he has appeared on TV either as he was previously featured on Celebs Go Dating in 2016 when he went on a date with Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby.

He was also on an episode of ITV 2’s Dress to Impress so he is no stranger when it comes to reality shows.

Since being kicked off MAFS UK, Brad has spoken out on how his and Shona’s relationship has been portrayed.

He said: “All they’ve shown is me and Shona all over each other physically or arguing, what an anti-climax that is but it’s also great TV.

“That aside, we had some great laughs, we had some great conversations, we were really connecting. There was a lot more depth there.

“I’ve been portrayed as an absolute villain.”

MAFS UK 2023 continues Monday to Thursday on E4.
