Married At First Sight's Tasha Jay sparked rumours of a romance between herself and her co-star Arthur Poremba – rumours she has now been forced to deny.
A couple of nights ago, Tasha and a number of her MAFS co-stars headed out to London's Libertine club to celebrate Arthur's birthday, after which she shared a number of celebratory snaps to Instagram.
One photo, which caught the eye of a number of her followers, saw Tasha holding hands with Arthur, despite them both being paired with other people on the popular E4 show.
One MAFS fan was quick to comment: "Holding hands with Arthur?? Another husband/ wife swap" while another asked: "U with Arthur? Cos hold hand mmm let’s see what happens the end of series."
Addressing these comments, Tasha, who was paired with Paul Liba on the show, took to her Instagram Story, where she wrote: "So there has been a lot of comments on this picture and I just wanted to clarify I only posted this picture because it was the only one I had of Arthur as it was his birthday celebration after all.
"@laurajayvaughan is one of my closest friends & I would never disrespect her.
"Arthur is also a really good friend of mine which is what you are seeing in this picture, there is nothing more to it! We all missed you the other night my angel [white heart emoji]"
She then finished by adding: "#TEAMLAURAANDARTHUR"
And while there may be no romance between Tasha and Arthur, the night has sparked further rumours of a split between Arthur and his MAFS bride Laura Vaugha, after he was spotted kissing another woman at his birthday celebrations.
An onlooker told the Daily Mail that Arthur had spent his entire night with a ‘mystery brunette’ who had joined at Kabo restaurant before partying at the nightclub with him.
It comes just weeks after Laura had spoken to us about her hopes of spending Christmas with her husband.
In an exclusive chat with OK!, Laura said she wanted to be able to visit Arthur’s home country of Poland to experience his culture and traditions firsthand.
“We’ve spoken about going to Poland and immersing myself in the first 15-16 years of his life,” said Laura, while touching on the fact that Arthur was raised in the country throughout his childhood before emigrating to the UK.
The then-smitten bride continued: “I think it'd be nice and cosy, and the weather would be cold, and we might get some snow – I think that’d be cool.”
The pair had gotten off to a rocky start on the show after Laura was left frustrated with Arthur when he admitted he had taken his marriage vows off Google rather than writing them himself.
Laura was later labelled a "golddigger" by some of her castmates, but in recent weeks the pair seemed to landed on solid footing, although we'll just have to continue watching to find out more.
